The winds were light but enough for the four K's and seven Idem's to make it twice around. The real excitement was the O-boat competition, with all four O's clumped together most of the time and the lead changing constantly. Congratulations to Christina Bellin! Here she is winning the Dyson Duncan trophy, the best of them all (in my biased opinion):

K start. I don't know who won, but it won't surprise me if it was the K who got her blue spinnaker up first.

Very wild Idem start, one going backwards, two spinning. Congrats to Gina for the win!

Seven boats at the line in dreary weather with decent and occasionally spicy breezes from .... all over the place.

Also, thank you to the spectator fleet - it is fun to have you out there! An asylum of four loons in the middle of the courses were completely unfazed by our upwind and downwind performance.

To cut to the chase, for the second Sunday in a row, Cheyenne Breglia won the regatta, this time with two firsts and a third! Way to go, Cheyenne! And we are happy to have a Junior Yacht Club sailor join the last two Sunday regattas. Nice to have you come out, Reeve!

Today in the tournament final, Sam McHugh and Gillian Munson reclaimed their title as the winners of the annual Really Mixed Doubles! Victorious in the semi-finals, they moved up to find their spouses Nicki McHugh and Taylor White on the opposite side of the court! The spectators enjoyed watching the family feud as the team members hit hard serves, great returns, passing shots and winners right on the lines.

Congratulations to Sam and Gillian! Thank you to everyone who was able to participate and those who could come out to watch.

If they are silver, you are responsible for polishing them before drop off!
